The Synthetic Biology Working Group of the ZKBS has reviewed the publications of the year 2022 and selected 31 of them for publication on their homepage. The working group found that most research approaches are covered by the GenTG and did not identify any specific biosafety risks that differ from those already covered by the GenTG and international regulations.
